What engine should I get for my 92 Mazda MX-3?

I recently bought a Mazda MX-3 and I want to replace the engine with something that has a little more juice. I am not really sure what engine will fit/still work with the computer system or where to get one. Maybe one with all the electrical components included as well as anything else is what I would need?
 
what about the 2.5 engine from the Probe GT/MX6. It was basically an enlarged verson of the V6 in the MX3 GS. It had 164 hp?
