You see I am going to be a sophomore in high school this year and I want to become a Video Game Designer when I get out of college. I have taken a look at some schools, gone on tours, but none of them had a major in video game design, and I've been to quite many. So, I have no idea what to major in. My parents are telling me to major in IT or Computer Programming in college then go to a video game design school as a graduate school kind of thing. So if I could get a very detailed, thorough, sophisticated, and helpful answer from an actual video game designer or somebody who is very knowing of this area I would strongly appreciate it. Also, if you could tell me a good video game design school I would really appreciate it also.
