I'm a high school senior whose ambition is to became an OB/GYN. What education do I need to achieve this?

You would of course need to first earn a BS somewhere. I would recommend somewhere with an actual pre med program. Good grades and such (as much AP, etc in high school never hurts either) will help you get accepted into such an institution with desirable credentials. After you have completed your Baccalaureate degree you will need to get accepted into a medical program. These are typically 4 years in duration. After you graduated with your medical doctorate degree (M.D. or D.O.) you will need to complete a residency. This typically occurs at a hospital. This is where you work under the supervision of experienced physicians in the field. You do get paid for this however not nearly as much as when you have successfully completed your residency. I believe that the residency for becoming an OBGYN is 3 years. This is indeed a noble and achievable ambition. It will of course require much determination and consistent hard work. The rewards will however be great: you will help A LOT of people, you get to welcome and usher in many people into the world for the first time and you will be paid well. I wish you well.
