What does yak butter tea taste like?

I've just recently heard of this tea that's made in Tibet and Mongolia... It sounds reAlly unusual to me but I'm curious to know what it tastes like...

Has any experienced this tea before??

To appreciate (and I do!) do not think about any other type of tea. Also forget the canard -- rancid butter. Sorry to start off with negatives.

To the brewed tea, add some salt, and a healthy amount of butter -- it should remind you of beef stock!!
Imagine you are at high altitude and cold, it will taste wonderful.

This would approximate (roughly) the butter tea of Bhutan and Tibet, and probably Mongolia.
