What does this Polish word mean?

I don't know how to spell this Polish word, but it is pronounced like this:

SASS-KWAY-VRA

I want to know because my mom's boyfriend called me that and I think it is a bad word. My mom won't do anything, though, because she said that I don't know what it means. Will someone please tell me so that I can tell my mom and her boyfriend will stop calling me names?
