What does this poem mean to you and what do you think?

You came to me as someone i could open up to someone i could feel comfortable with and hold all night
I was that girl you spotted once and finally found and never wanted to let go, just hold tight
Your the guy that makes me smile and kocked me off me feet, always saying somthing sweet
Yet im the girl whose scared to fall in way to deep. so i keep my distance and you think im creep
Its not that i dont care, its not that your not a true friend, its that love always winds up screwing me in the end
So i dont wanna love you or fall to hard on the ground, so that im broken in pieces with no one around
What can i do what can i say. im scared to love there is no way
no way in no way out
its either i take this chance or im out
But im so nervous oh what to do, alls i know is i love you
Thanks it wasnt suppose to be about twilight lol its bout something im actually expierincing rit now
 
I will give you my honest opinion: this could have been just prose. There's no sense for it to be poetry, it seems more as if you took a personal essay and you wrote the sentences each from the beginning of each line...I think the idea in itself is sensitive , but the shape you expressed it in is not poetry. I recommend you very friendly to read the great poets of the world , and notice their way with words, I am sure you will find the experience enriching.
