My boyfriend of 7.5 years recently decided to end things. We were very young when we began dating (17) and never really took the time out to find out who we really are as individuals. We got along perfectly and were the best of friends...I honestly thought he was the one. A few weeks after we broke up he emailed me and said I miss you and I love you, and a bunch of stuff about how he wants to me focus on myself for awhile. He ended the email with saying "I would never come running back to you in the near future because that's just wrong, but I never will close the door on you...but for now just let it go." What do you guys think that means? Does it sound like hes just playing games and trying to keep me from moving on?
