I recently just got a new smartphone and you are forced to get a data plan with a smartphone which kind of sucks, but you have to oblige if you want a new smartphone. So I got the 150MB data plan which I thought would be plenty since with my old phone I had (not a smartphone, just a slide out) I would stream on its basic web service on the mobile versions of CNN and Yahoo for an hour and it would say I used only .2MB so I thought 150MB would be plenty!
I did a lot of surfing around the web and streamed a few videos on my new phone and even did some downloads off the Android Market. Now I recently checked and it said I just used up 80MB of Data! What the hell just happened?
So exactly what does that 150MB of Data Mean? Does it mean how much data of web I'm surfing per minute or second? Does it mean how much data I can download from the Android Market each month? Is it the amount of data I can stream on videos?
PLEASE ANSWER! 10 points for first and best answer!
ALSO! If somebody knows what the icons on the LG Vortex's notification bar means, it would also be greatly appreciated!
