What does the filename mean when I pull a photo from Facebook?

Does anyone know the meaning of the name of the file when you pull a photograph from Facebook? It's a string of numbers around 15 (give or take) digits long. It seems to me that part of this number might have to do with the user, and maybe part of it the date... I don't know.

I was wondering if this number works within Facebook the way a VIN number or an ISBN number can give you information about the car or book.
