What does the error message on my Samsung Mesmerize mean? (*#9900*)?

I get the error "Sorry! - Use *#9900# to take log -" "The process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Whenever I hit my home button, it goes home and then vibrates once, the screen goes black and then the error message pops up. I cannot go into any apps besides my phone, messaging, contacts, and task manager. Someone please help!
