the average mechanic who has done it for lets say 10 years or so? Maybe an average of $10 per hour +/- . Some days are good and others are bad and weather can be a factor in that too. Now as an owner of a shop, well for every hour of the day they are open- about the same thing per hour if they are lucky. Some days you might get no customers and other days you might get a few and you hope that those days when you get a few they spend money and some days you get one that spends a thousand and that might have to hold you the entire week......roll the dice and see what you get!
