Every time I pop in and check out the astronomy section I always see people asking about the end of the world in 2012... so what gives? Why does that end up in the astronomy section? I mean I know the Mayan calander apperantly ends in 2012 and that their calander is based on astronomical phenomenon... But still... I am I missing something?
Ah yes I remember now. Nibiru.. Earth's nemesis lurking in space that's going to collide with us and kill everything. Makes sense now!

And by the way, wasn't the world suppose to end in like 500 ad then in 1000 ad... and then again in like 1847 some and then again in 2000?
