Does anyone know what the a ROM charge stands for on a Rogers bill? I live really close to the US border and whenever I had called Rogers before about this charge, they said it was because I was in roaming due to the fact that I'm so close to the border. However, when I recieved an $86 dollar charge this month and looked at my calls (as I always have), the calls that come up with a charge are ones that say ROM.
I called Rogers, as I always have, but this time the guy told me that it has nothing to do with roaming and that they were wrong to take off my previous charges. Although, he didn't know what ROM stood for.
All it says on my bill is that ROM stands for "outside local calling area". Is this not roaming then?
