right im writing a essay on edward scissorhands and they said link to question is this reinforcing or challenging

the question is

explore how far the representation of disability is challenged in edward scissorhands.

i wrote something like

Edward shows that he is different from others as he has scissors as hands. Edward lives in a castle but on the poster he is looking down at the peoples houses which shows that maybe he just wants to be normal and wants to have a normal life instead of just hiding in a big scary castle because it is reinforcing the representation that disabled people should be kept apart and not included in other people. Also Edwards’s hands (scissors) are very large which shows that what he has is important and that maybe he is dangerous and scary. This is reinforcing because it is showing that disability is a bad thing but its not. Edward is very pale in the poster so it could mean that he is very cold so it could mean that he is very cold and empty on the inside because no one is giving him any love.

a teacher told me for every point i make i should link back to the question and explain if its renforcing or challenging

so what do them two words mean in the media

please help

many thanks :)
