English debate. Apparently English professors believe that literature has a purpose that is beyond our comprehension. Literature serves as art, and a true form of expression. Literature is a method to indirectly convey ideas through various approaches. However, what english professors also believe is that authors who fail to achieve this, should give up on their career. What I want to know is that what does not count as literature. Please provide me with some examples.
