What does no commission on artwork sales mean?

I entered a small art contest and I had the choice to price my art for sale. But the rules said no commision. This is the first time I've tried to sell my art so I'm confused. Does that mean if the piece is sold that I get no money for it? Or does it mean the gallery takes no money for it? Thanks for your help!
