We are doing an experiment in which we boiled a starch breaking enzyme (amylase) so we denature it. Then we add starch to it. Then we add Benedicts and Iodine to check for poly/monosaccharide. When adding the Iodine, we got no change in color. What does this mean. a negative or positive.
