In mathematics, the factorial of a non-negative integer n, denoted by n!, is the product of all positive integers less than or equal to n.

n!=n*(n-1)*(n-2)...so on

For example,

5!=5*4*3*2*1=120

where n! represents n factorial. The notation n! was introduced by Christian Kramp in 1808.
 
Umm, well, "n" has no meaning, unless it's used in a way that illustrates onomatopoeia (i.e. bang, crack and boom). "n" could represent grinning or grinding your teeth in that sense.

Modifying "n" with "!" :

n!

Would be a loud pronounced way of saying "n". Exclamation marks are used to "exclaim" (shout) a word or set of words.
