This is what my MRI said: Mild broad based degenerative L4-5 disc bulge with mild degree of circumferential thecal sac encroachment or central canal stenosis as a result of the spondylotic changes, mild ligamentum flavum thickening in this patient with large and mildly degenerative lurabar facets and short lurabar pedicles. No evidence for lurabar disc herniations nor significant lurabar foraminal stenosis. There is mild lurabar spine convexity to the left which can be consistent with mild levoscoliosis. I went to the E.R. yesterday because the pain in my lower back was unbarable. To stand up straight I had to walk my hanRAB up my legs. Turning left or right was like a sharp pain stabbing me in my lower back. I do not understand what the MRI says, can you explain it to me. I like to see pictures also. I've been all over the internet, but getting very frustrated. Please help.
