This has been on my mind for a while now, and I'd like to get an opinion.
My grandmother had a now-banned form of radiation treatment for TB before she got married. She then had three normal daughters. Of her four grand-children, myself included, two have psychological disorders (one anxiety based, one developmental, both high-functioning). Also (as a result of the TB treatment, I suspect), my grandmother contracted breast cancer, skin cancer, and had a heart valve replaced (all at different times in her life).
Given this, would any of my future children have a higher-than-normal vulnerability to psychological disorders?
