what does my car accident dream mean?

So I was driving down the highway with my ex girlfriend in her car and her car cant handle being on the highway. It has a lot of problems with it. I was driving and I had to speed up to get in the next lane to take the exit and all of a sudden when I accelerated I heard a loud pop and lost control of the car doing 85. Pretty sure the steering wheel fell off and we were going sideways down the highway and thought I was going to die then I woke up. I also saw another car next to me lose control and for a second I was looking down on the situation from above. I don't know what it means
