AT&T offers MEdia Net for almost all GSM wireless phones. It lets you access all the cool features like emailing, web surfing, gaming and more. It is a pay-per-use service, which means you don't have to pay on a monthly basis, but rather pay only for what you have used. As of August 2010, MEdia Net usage will cost you $2 per MB. You don't exactly have to activate MEdia Net on your phone, as it is automatically activated on all AT&T GSM phones that support MEdia Net.
1. Find out if your cell phone has MEdia Net capabilities. Visit the AT&T Cell Phones & Devices page (see Resources) and browse through the list of available AT&T phones and find your phone. Click your phone's icon and scroll down the page to view the "Additional Details." Under "Video & Web," if your phone has "MEdia(TM) Net for wireless Internet access," you can activate wireless Internet pay per use. If not, you will have to get a new phone.
2. Press the "Menu" key on your cell phone.
3. Scroll down and find "MEdia Net" in the menu. Select "MEdia Net" to start browsing
