What does it take to become a math tutor?

I dropped out of high school in the beginning of ninth grade. I got my GED two years ago and started attending community college. I tested into the lowest level of math, 0300. It took awhile, but I am finally in calculus. It is absolutely my favorite subject, and my dream is to teach a developmental mathematics course at my college. I really don't have anyone in my life that wants to hear me talk about my passion, math. It bores my family to tears. So, I spend a lot of time in my schools tutoring lab.

Long story short, one of the tutors that helped me the other day mentioned that he was in cal 3. I thought I would have to get at least a bachelors degree before I could get that job.

What is the requirement (in texas) to be a math tutor?
