What does it mean whine I have a burning sensation while urinating?

Lately when ever I go to the restroom. It feels as if my trouser dragon is breathing fire. I don't think this is normal. Any ideas on how to make this stop. I tried dipping it in some ice water. That only made things shrink.
 
Most likely it is a STD. Hence, Frank Zappa's song, "Why does it burn when I pee?"

Men can get urinary tract infections but that is less likely than women. Also there is a slight possibilty that it could be a kidney stone. Most of the time Kidney stones cause extreme pain, but very small ones could cause burning.

It isn't normal and you should get to a doctor as soon as possible. If it is an STD be sure to get your partner treated also. Otherwise you will be swapping the infection back and forth.
