It has been 7 days since I got my russian dwarf hamster and im wondering what it means if your hamster licks you then bites you. I hadn't hand fed her any treats that day and I oppened up her cage and she just came up 2 the oppening and stared at me. I put my hand out to see if she would let me pick her up and she just started licking me. I felt something wet on my finger, but I didn't feel teeth so I think she was licking me but then she found my finger nail and started nibbling on it. She had plenty of food. So what does it mean. I had just cut my nail to. What did she not like the way I clipped them?
