What does it mean when a guy says well chat soon?

I chatted with him one night.. we chatted on the computer for like 30 mins.. I know him in person as well..but that night he was on IM, After we ended the chat he said" we will chat again soon?"

and I put sure.

So i want to know what does it mean when a guy writes that in a IM?

Does it mean he likes chattine with me?
