What does it mean when a girl looks at me every time I walk pass by her?

At work I have noticed this girl looking at me when walking pass by her, about 10 feet away and from the corner of my eye I can see her looking at my direction every time I pass by her. But I am a shy guy so I pretend that I don't notice her and keep on working and moving along. What should I do? Wave? Smile? I don't wanna embarrass myself, LOL
