...single in baseball? my bestfriend plays baseball and he always tells me how he did and im just like thats awesome and i have no clue what hes talking about can someone finally fill me in?
 
a single is when you reach first base safley and there was no errors a tripple is when you reach third base safley and ther was no errors
 
a triple is the hardest thing to get in baseball because you need speed and power. Its where you hit it inbetween two outfielders and you run to first, second, and third, a total of 270 feet, before they could get the ball in.

A single is ussualy a ground ball that goes into the outfield. People refer to it as a basehit.

A triple is when he hits it into the outfield and he makes it to third base. A single is when he hits it and he gets to first safley!
