What does it mean to be offered of becoming a business partner by a new boyfriend?

My new boyfriend (11-years older than me and we only got together for a month now) seriously wants to create a business, and would want me to be his partner. I understand that he wants to show his trust in me because the business will involve a big amount of money on his part. But on the other hand, could it be also his test for me on how I handle money? He once mentioned to me that he and his first wife got divorced mainly because of "money matters" (he didn't reveal the real reason yet). So could this offer be his way of checking whether I can be trusted or not? What could be the other reasons behind his offer? Could it also be because he wants us to get serious on our relationship? Thanks for your answer.

I'd consider it a huge red flag. He hardly knows you but wants you in business with him? What would you be expected to risk? Being business partners could seriously affect your potential romance also...

...at this stage of the game, I'd say it's not wise. After you've been dating a year or so, and your relationship is solid and happy...maybe.
