I've seen people here argue that we are different from animals, and therefore we didn't evolve from animals, because we are "made in god's image". That's a bizarre and vague statement...what does it mean, exactly? Obviously it can't mean physical likeness, because god has no form and lives outside of time. Can someone explain this oddity?

If that's true, why are we fallible sinners and he's not? Seems that we're only "made in his image" when it's convenient (like in a vain attempt to disprove evolution).
