What does it mean by scar had not painted harry for nineteen years. all was well?

I read it in the harry potter book, it was the last words. Tbh I don't really get it, can someone explain what it means?

well, voldermort died, so the scar didn't bother him anymore
because it was the link between the 2 of them
oh yea and i though that that ending sucked
after seven really famous books that's how it ends??

The scar was a link between Voldemort and Harry. It hurt Harry when Voldemort was angry, happy, etc. Because Voldemort died at the end, the link was broken and the scar didn't hurt anymore. It was proof that Voldemort was gone for good, so all was well.
