I asked a man the direct question "why" he left me hanging. We met on vacation & hung for 3 days. I told him I would have the utmost respect for him & no longer contact him if he just tells me what went wrong. He immediately replied with "you did nothing wrong...I'm going through rough times and have personal problems I need to deal with. My friends along with you made my trip enjoyable, but at this point in my life I'm not looking for anything. If my personal shit ever gets straightened out I'll contact you.. and no I'm not married." I'm a sucker for overanalyzing, but is it ok to have a sense of hope?? (per his last statement). Intuition rings an issue with a significant other.
