Something that's always confused me: when talking about a guy, if a girl (or another guy for that matter!) says they are cute, what does it actually mean? Is it that different from hot/sexy? The word 'cute' suggests someone sweet, attractive and endearing, but I've heard people like Jason Statham called kinda cute, and those aren't the words I'd think would most appropriately describe him. Does cute suggest something as well as attractiveness, like sensiteveness, softness? Or is it just another word for hot? If a girl calls a guy cute, or vice versa, as opposed to sexy, or peng, or buff, is it a less strong term, or does it just suggest sweetness as well as attractiveness? The reason this confuses me is because I've heard girls talk about the most good-looking actors and models in the world and call them 'cute', whereas guys talking about extremely good-looking girls use much stronger sounding terms. Just wondering how strong of a term 'cute' is and in what context you would use it.
