I have a moto q9h with att, which I had before they changed all the rules about having a required data plan. I understand that I am "grandfathered" in because they haven't made me get a data plan with my phone. My phone is about to wear out and I want another smartphone but I don't want the data plan. I do not use interent at all on my phone. I am not under contract with att right now. I understand if I upgrade with att I will have to subscribe to a data plan or they will add it and notify me through a text message. My question is, if I buy a phone from ebay and insert my sim card will att still add a data plan? Since I didn't upgrade with them or renew my contract I am unaware of what will happen. If you know for sure please enlighten me....Thanks!
