what does a catallytic converter do? what is the difference between front and rear breaks (drums vs rotors?) i need to learn more about cars, going to look at educational websites online but your insight is appreciated. please keep it simple for me to understand. thanks.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/car-parts-roundup.htm explains how almost every part on a car works in simple terms. BTW: They are brakes, not breaks and they are drum vs disk officially, although rotors are part of a disk brake system.

You should watch the car shows on SPIKE channel every week. You'll pick up alot. Also watch wheeler dealers on Discovery theather channel
