I suffer from mild Seborrheic Dermatitis on my face, recently though, I had surgery done on my nose and when I awoke from surgery i looked into the mirror and all the dead, dry, red flakiness of my face was gone. I asked the nurse the next day why my face looked so clean and healthy, all she said was that they scrub with betadine solution to kill bacteria and yeasts on the face. When the flakiness and redness started to come back about a week later, I bought the betadine and some gauze and scrubbed my face after I showered but the next day it didn't look 'as' good as it did when the surgical team did it. Could there be a step I'm missing? Or something they might have put on my face after scrubbing it with betadine that made it look so youthful and healthy?
