I have a car in my ownership with Connecticut plates that I want to sell on Craigslist in California. What is the process to sell the car? All I have been able to find is the process to list an ad on craigslist, which I already know how to do. I want to know what I need to do with my out-of-state car to get it out of my possession. The CA DMV website talks about what is required, but I think that is only if the car is registered in CA. My questions are how to sign the title over, what other paperwork is required, etc.
