What do you use a USB Flash Drive for ?

I know you can store files from your computer on there.
But I have ISO Playstation games that are like 400 MB each.(They are my legally owned personal files)

Could I put them and a Emulator on the Flash Drive , plug the flash drive in , go to Drive that the Flash Drive shows up as and open up the Emulator and play the games ?

Or would I have to Import them back into my computer to play them ?

Basically is the flash drive just for storage , or can it be used like a second Hard Drive ?

you can play games off the flash drive (like i do when i'm supposed to be doing my classwork) and it is a mini external hard drive in the way it works, however the flash drive is slower than the computer so it is going to have some lag with it
