What do you think the end game is for the pressure being put on US automakers by

govt officials? Its clear they are dealing in a very bossy like manner when it comes to the automakers whereas when dealing with the bankers and the wall streeters, they invite their CEO's over for conversations and to get their suggestions...and don't even bother to track what happened to all that first round of TARP money went.

Clearly there is a double standard. But the question is, you get the feeling its a little dance thats going on and govt already knows what it wants to happen but is just dragging it out instead of coming out and saying it.

Anyone know what they want from the automakers?
