I'm only 13, so don't be too harsh.
This doesn't rhyme, and it's really short, and I wrote it in like, five minutes, so I'm not sure if it really qualifies as a poem, but still, what do you think?
Imagine
If I close my eyes tightly enough,
And take the background noise,
And weave it into the scenery,
Of the place I'm trying to escape to,
I can pretend that I'm somewhere else,
Lost in the scene that plays behind my eyelids,
Until reality shatters the illusion,
And it unravels like the fabric of a dream.
