I was just writing some things down about this guy I like and it sort of turned into a poem. Can you read it and give me your opinion? Please bare in mind that it just came from the top of my head and took me about ten minutes to write!

I just need you near to me, I’m sure
That my feelings won’t ever change
And I can’t carry on this way
Do you remember that night we were together for the first time?
I looked into your eyes and told you I loved you,
But I knew you didn’t feel the same way too.
You were thinking of her when you held my hand
All I want now is for you to understand
That I can’t let go, this isn’t for show
I can’t help but feel this way because I need you in my life.
You don’t have to say you love me, but I need you by my side.
I’ll always be here for you
Even if you’re not there for me
Because in everything I do
I feel lost without you
