You see that young teen walkin down the street

A new baby in his arms

The mother right be side him

With her school books in her hands

. . .

Ain’t he too young

To be raisin his own family

He should be out

Playin ball

With those kids on the playground

Maybe the high school field

But ain’t he too young

. . .

They struggle to make ends meet

Attending high school

And tryin to keep a job

That baby’s the center of their world

. . .

They’ve got no time for

Friends or parties

No money to spend on them

That baby needs all they have

Maybe they should of thought again

. . .
