Lay Here
White clouds lingering in a baby blue sky,
Laying here watching the regal birds fly,
The gentle wind makes the trees dance,
As I lay here and watch the graceful deer prance,
I watch the sunbeams set, creeping into the grass,
Soon to see the glowing stars pass,
The silence is broken by the crickets song,
The scent of the earth keeps it strong,
It begins to rain on this summers night,
As I lay here and wait for dawns first light.
