...GW Bush? Cons on this page keep pointing out that it's not fair, and after a little research on Conservative web sites and blogs , I think I see why. It's my duty as a God-Fearing citizen to share this with my fellow Liberals on why we should stop digging up the ol' Bush Card, when Conservatives criticize our President.
What do you think of these reasons to leave poor old W alone?
1) Everything was 100% Fine when W left office, and the economy was actually NOT going down in a blazing hellfire spiral as a result of his policies.
2) W never took any vacation days. All those 1000+ days he was at Camp David, he was in fact actually catching up on work he was behind on, and writing checks to down-and-out Americans out of his own pocket, and picking up the slack for the Muslim members of congress who never did any work.
3) W had full control of his administration! He just made it LOOK like a madhouse free-for-all Spendathon because it lured his political opponents like the Dems and the Taliban into a false sense of security. Unfortunately he did it too well.
4) W never DREAMED of meddling with the Constitution, it was the big kids who forced him to. IT was there idea and they were going to pants him on the tire swing if he didn't.
5) There were rumors that he was in the pocket of every major industrial lobbyist, which is certainly not tru- ok maybe a little but who among us can honestly say we'd stand tall when a dump truck full of money comes backing up to the front door? Seriously??? I know I wouldn't!
6) The Reagan-Style monkey business his admin tried to pull would've worked if it wasn't for you meddling kids!
And last and most important...
7) Did you really think Kerry or Gore would've been any better? Honestly. Same turds different bowl.
Cob, but I'm *defending* W! You don't need the usual rebuttal.
