What do you think of this HIKING idea for the AT?

i plan to hike the AT in 2 1/2 months. i have a goat that i take hiking alot and use as a pack goat. i plan to pack this goat up and take it on the trail from GA to Maine with me. has anyone else used a goat on the trail?
 
I think its a fugggging awesome idea. If I had a goat - I'd do just what you say... And, I don't see any problem with provisioning at local stores along the way either.. A goat is like a pet. I always wanted to own a goat. I hear they have great personality and make fun little friends around the farm/house. Good Luck to you friend
