Limb muscles twitching,
Deep tissues pulling where the boiling blood anoints.
The bones are cracking,
The cracks leak marrow,
Bubbling as the fire barbs pry the joints.
Bowing spars, taut sinews.

The chest cage quivers,
The skeleton clicks and shivers,
