...lifestyle choices and personal decisions? I have a coworker who always tells me about her "prayer list." It seems to be her way of micromanaging other people's lifestyle choices and personal decisions. She told me a while ago that she was praying for he lesbian cousin to "give up the gay lifestyle" and get married to a man. Her cousin's lover died in an auto crash, and she took it as an answer to prayer. Yesterday, she told me she was praying for me to stop wearing such short skirts. I was speechless. What do you think of this?
I'm not worried about her prayers, although I must say the whole idea sounds as much like voodoo as Christianity. But it gets better! I've had a lot of probs. w/ my ankle over the last couple of years, and she just told me today that it's because she prayed that it would happen so i'd have to "sit still and listen to God!"
She is starting to creep me out a bit... Every now and then I catch her staring at me, and when I do, she doesn't stop, she just keeps staring...
