It's not my fault. And it's not God's fault either. It's the perfect demon's fault. The world may call her "anorexia," but I call her the perfect demon. Because of her, I was broken. But because of God, I was saved by grace in more than one way. He rescued me in my darkest hour. When I was dying in the hole of suffering and lies that I dug for myself, Jesus saved me. When I was lost He showed me the Way. In my world of lies He showed me the Truth. I was so blind I couldn't even see myself, yet He showed me the Light. And when I was dying He showed me the Life. Out of love, He saved me from myself, the perfect demon, and the wrath of God. All the glory be to the Lord. Words cannot express my experience, but I pray that they're enough to touch those who are haunted by the same demon who tormented me, the perfect demon. I pray that God will rebuke her from the lives of all who read this book and that He may fill the spot where she once occupied with His love, mercy, and grace. So here is my story and I tell it in the name of love. I don't want to see any other girl put herself through the same pain that I put myself through. Most of all, I want you to know that no matter what the perfect demon tells you, you are beautiful.
