...live in a rural town.? I tried out a 2007 Honda Fit yesterday, and it was a lot of fun, and then later tried out the Subaru Legacy, which of course was heavier with a larger engine 2.5 so not as economical, but wondered what the FIt will be like to drive in the constantly changing winter weather of Quebec compared to the all wheel drive of the Subaru. The Subaru was going for 9 950 with founr winter tires included, and the Honda was going for 10,000 also with winter tires. There is still almost 3 yrs bumper to bumper warranty on the Fit or 120, 000 kms as compared to a one year warranty on the Subaru, or 20 000 kms. The salesman of the Subaru said that since I live on top of a small mountain that the Honda Fit may not even make it. Last year, even my Dodge Caravan could not leave my house a couple of times due to an incline while leaving, what to speak of the Honda, right ? I want the gas economy of the Fit , but thinking I may have to sacrifice it for the realiability of the Subaru. I am a musican and cook, so I need to get a hatchback to carry stuff.
