this is a poem i wrote on the way that i see poetry and the fact that i found out i really like writing poetry and i am considering becoming a poet although i dont really know how to be a poet anyway the poem is about what i think poetry is so enjoy and please tell me what you think but no harsh comments thanks
the poem is called i want to be a poet in the world of poetry (its a crap name but its all i could think of lol)
Although I didn’t know it
I found I want to be a poet
So ill take this chance to say
Poetry really brightens my day
It’s a way to describe your feelings
It makes you feel like your healing
You can write anything on your mind
And it helps you to unwind
It takes you to another world
Where all your words are unfurled
Sometimes it’s like magic
Although it can be rather tragic
It’s a way to express your emotions
It can take you to a dark ocean
Or to some ones deep devotion
It can help you just like a healing potion
So ill take this chance to say
